i ran into this topic about ladder runewords; faith, insight, death and all those runewords, are they ladder only runewords over CCC or can they be used in single player also ?

There is a counter based on time in SP. If you sell a SoJ in Hell difficulty you will increase the counter by about 25.
You get the messages of sold SoJ and if enough SoJ are sold "Diablo walks on Earth". Then you can go to the next Unique Bossmonster and Diablo Clone will spawn from it.
