Hello. I've got a question.
I remember you can make runewords in rare and magic items - is this feature still here ?
Also where can I find full list of differences between official Diablo2 and ChaosEmpire ?
 
p.s. Logging at evening and see "there are currently 17 people online ..." in chat - is it true ? only 17 people playing ? Quite strange, I remember this mod was one of most popular. Cant believe people dont play Diablo2 + mods nowadays :P

yes is is so. You can mace RW in normal, etheral, rare and magic items.
But not in sets and uniques

not complet but a littel bit in the

readme.txt and readme.htm at your d2 flooder

the game is more than 10 years old
many people dont know about mods or are afraid about them

it depends on every player to get more public..good critics in several forum help

Most people don't know about gaming mods or are afraid to use them. Every player needs to get more public attention for the CE mod.

Ah Joe, you might want to see if you could get the mod to setup the correct dectrix video drivers to install for D2LOD and the CE mod. Xp Pro update seems to installs a newer set of drivers. I'm still have problems trying to reinstall D2lod and CE mod. Keep failing the video tests.

Now for the rest of you guys, try putting up links to the Ce Mod on general forums beside gaming forums! Talk it up some.

Ehh sad. I came back to this mod after 6 years of playing WoW. I tried modern games like mass effect 2, but still my heart feels to old games I played long ago. I really like to see more people here, I'll try to bring my m8's from wow, which I played D2 with.

have you installed the driver for the graphic adapter provided by manufacturer instead of the included in windows?
what graphic board, maybe opengl could be used with the wrapper instead of directX

directX9.. for XP can be downloaded at microsoft, but should already be included in online updates of win xp

Btw I got few more questions (lets rename thread to "Violett's questions thread" ^^)
You can cube your teddy + crafted charm to get skills\vita\resi bonuses on teddy.
Questions is what is it that "crafted charm" ? ^^ where to get it ?
Also can act5 merc dualweild weapons ? 1h\2h

On the server some people got a tocken on HC. This is the crafted charm
In SP you will find one on the cheat_char (HC + SC).

Also can act5 merc dualweild weapons ? 1h\2h
no only 1 Weapon or 1 shild

That is the problem, drivers don't install! Looking for different video card.

The on-board video, mother board, has problem running the new monitor.
 I was forced to buy. Old one crapped out, had no choice but to use tobacco / whiskey money for monitor.

The problem is all Whiskers's fault, sickly back kitten, pissed in spare parts box! Cat piss does ruin electronics and spare hard drives. Cat barf also ruins lap top keyboards too.

Thanks for the help Joe. I guess it is time to poke around in the cast off computers some more.
The fun fact is the CE Mod was running well till after a new Windows update!  :BangHead:
