Final quest 1st level

By any chance has anyone ever played this game in single player mode ?  and if so without cheating have you completed the final quest in Tristram ? even on the 1st level of difficulty?

'Cause its damn near impossible. 

Do you not think our beloved coders have gotten a little carried away with the attributes one needs to complete this quest ?

In multiplayer mode it would be a good challange, but in single player mode its down right silly.

just over 40 minutes bashing the "no Name" in the dungeon below the old church with an assasin with poison damage of 1813-2001. traps of lightening of 1 - 1396 (the no Name as physical and fire resist), and a valkyrie (summoned) and rogue accompanying me.

and pretty well nothing damage wise.

Is it really necessery to be quite so heavy handed playing this at level 1 ?

yes!
In most of the flavors & mods of Diablo, D2 & D2LOD. IT is tough in CE to finish, just keep trying. <Grin>
Those immune monsters do take a bit to whack.
You need to have all the different types of damage available to your guy and sidekick.
Several different weapons also help or you can download the cheat characters, but you have to be in the upper levels to use all the items.
The use of sets and socketed items with rune words, greatly increase your chances.

level 70 ?  assuming the minions get harder each of three levels, doesn't that make it interesting to get through it at the highest level in SP ?

Also by any chance have we changed the drops in tristram, In the dungeons i noticed when i finally killed "No Name" and all other minions i didn't get "Dungeons Forever" in fact i got no drop at all ?

don't kill them on corners, walls and so on.
The drop will get in lost in the things. Same problem like chimera in seven in older versions.
