Topic: Build Requests

I wanted to ask people to submit CE builds here that they consider successful.  In particular I'm interested in the following:

elemental druid or hybrid
any and all paladin builds
any and all barb builds - esp weird ones, like shouters
assasin hybrids
poison/bone necros

Besides skill points, please indicate what you consider appropriate for attribute point distribution.

I have looked at the other forums, but since I can't read German very well I can't figure out the builds properly.  I'd also like any other information, such as how the build fares when played solo (East Coast US, I often play when Europe players are asleep)

i played an hybrid druid(armageddon+werwolf+hurrican) succesful(and many others too) if you want to know more about this char ask Phönix he wrote a guide about this char(it´s a german one, cause of that you won´t be able to read the guide)

paladin, well everything is possible and playable, some better, some worse
i played fanazeal, ranger(with multishot, is a bit unstable cause of no shield), multiauradins(like the ranger they are unstable, but with good equip playable), fohadin is difficult cause of the huge amount of monsters(foh has a castdelay) and i played a pala with whirling wind in combination with holy frost and fana(played him till lvl 90, dmg up to 60k with cc set)

whirling wind and frenzy are playable,like they allways were, i played a shouter before he got nerfed(less dmg and cast delay now) don´t like the cast delay :/ , bowbarbs are good to play to, 35-135k dmg are possible, throwing barbs are difficult cause of only one dmg type

assasin, i played traps+psycho worked good, melee work good to(played in werwolf form for more life)

i played an p&b nec some ladders ago(lvl 94) with some good blockers(i used revives, but golems are possible too)
poision +golem/skeletons or bone +Golem/skeletons should work too


attribute points
str: always enough for equip(use skill oils for items with high requirements)
dex: same like strenght, but bow barbs can have more(up to 1000 dex is possible with odgens, but about 200-300 should do it)
vita as much as possible(well you only die cause of low life, don´t you?^^)
ene melee chars base or 20-30 at start, casters 100-200

Hey wolf, whats that bow barb build? i've never seen one before. I searched a little but could not find any guides to a bow barb, even in german... maybe i just overlooked (im the best at overlooking, like searching for sugar in the kitchen for a while, and when i pay more attention its right there, under my nose xD) r maybe there arent any guides of this sort yet. Can you give me some light? ^^

I think no guide exsist, but they should be easy to build up.

Only difficulty should be the cain lr reward on ur barbbelt to use multishot. Without the reward this build is more ore less damned to fail.

Max the (war-)cries for life,def,skill and the mastery for more dmg and ar.
Stats like every other char, except dex for more dmg and ar.
Equip:
Anything that gives u more dmg and life should do it...
And off course a good bow with Broken Promise, Faith, or something like that.

phönix posted how to equip/skill a bowbarb, i translated it for you:

Skills:
Bowmastery
Ironskin
Natural Resistance
Shout
Battleorders
Battle Command

Rest like you want -> Ihave i point in amok,cuz i have a sword in 2. slot(it was useful with low skilllevels to kill phys immunes cuz magic arrow didn´t convert much dmg)
I have 1 point in doublethrow to, cuz it was useful at startup

Stats:
Strenght: for equip(with skill oils base, i used 100 strenght)
Dex: rest (1 point in Dex = 1,1% enchance damage)
Vita:as much as you need to survive (700 are enough for sc, in hc more is possible)
Energie: nothing

My one (Cupido Level 96) is playable in cgs^^
Equip:
Broken Promise in a Hydrabow (Diamantbow, Crusader Bow, Ward Bow are good too)
Lachdonnans Heart with 4 Starfacetts (Blood, Fortitude, Hannabals cause of 50% Pierce)
Bloodbelt with Cainquest LR + CGS (Rohling mit +3 Mastery +3 Ballte Orders should be perfect)
Übergloves (befor "Magnus Skin" cuz of Maxspeed)
Überboots (Eyecatcher)
Prowess in Battle in +2 Barbhelm (Guardian Crown has Style )
Arrows with about 300ed and AR+Maxdam/Level (as long as you have no ubergloves you should use the unique arrows with pierce!!)
Eye of the Tiger (complete Divaset is good at start)
2x Jackals Laughter with Zod (for max deadly strike)

Mightmerc with Prideweapon (Level 19 Konzentration) and Eyecatcher (Level 25 Konzentration),
complete Divaset, Bloodhelm + Belt, Celestial Unicorn, Magnus Skin

Thanks, everyone...I have also been curious about a bowazon, and got one up to level 90+ on BNet LOD in the past...it's good to know that they can survive CGS with the right equipment.

Does anyone remember seeing a character in the last ladder that was a barb Shouter?  He looked like fun, but I didn't know how really survivable he would be in later levels.

bowazon works good(most people play multishot+frost arrows, cuz fire arrows lag to much)

dunno if shouter works
damage is about 23k at lvl 50, but you need a lot of mana, 59 mana cost at lvl 50 (lvl 100: 48k damag, 109mana cost)

level 100? cant skills go only up to 86? maybe in another version....

normal diablo: lvl 20 skilled, lvl99 with +skills
ce:lvl 30 skilled, lvl 100 with +skills

and i don´t remember of a version that was only 86
maybe an other mod?

I dont think so, since the only realm mod ive played was CE, but maybe i am wrong and this lvl 86 was some other thing....
