Topic: Help starting CE mod online

It seems he's doing everything he needs to to log on, except the possible inhabitant post; but since he's got 7.60 it's plain he's gotten some kind of account.
Before I give erroneous advice I want to check myself here: What's his next step to getting online?

I currently have 1.1 LOD with the chaos files in one directory and 1.11
loaded into a different directory

7.60 was the highest version available when I last tried this, some of the
servers were running 7.55 others were running 7.60 (I also manually tried
some of the servers that are not loaded with the default CE install)
