wie meinst du das? keinen boner machen oder einfach ein anderes rw geben?

EDIT: Um das machen zu können brauch ich zuerst ne Liste welches die neuen RW´s sind. Ich kenne nur 7 davon.
THE KLIQ IS BACK!!!!

I´ve got only two words for ya: SUCK IT!

If I understand correctly, we don't have a problem here.

We could have a "bone" rw for wands, another "bone" rw for necro shields, and another "bone" rw for necro armor.

The only place where the Mod would have a problem is if the same rune combination in the same object type had different effects, regardless of whether the name was the same.

E.g. "Sol Um Um" in an armor, named "CEBone" would conflict if the 1.11 patch runeword "Sol Um Um" in an armor named "bone"

Another example, there are two rune words named "Passion", one that goes in any object and one that only goes in weapons.  Different runes & effects, so the game doesn't get confused.  Only we do.

Of course, if I misunderstand what the thread is about, *blush* sorry *hides*.

U got it right webwalker, but i don't know that there would be no conflict, if the rw names are the same, but the effect would be different.
I think chaos said in another thread, that the new rw's would overwrite the exsiting ones, if they have the same name. (That's how i got it anyway)

I think we've already got this tested... make a passion (DolOrtEldLem) weapon and a passion (NefEldRal) anything.
For some serious giggles, make them both in swords and put them both on a dual-wield barbarian.

I think chaos said in another thread, that the new rw's would overwrite the exsiting ones, if they have the same name. (That's how i got it anyway)

I understood him to say exactly that, then that post got edited to remove that assertion (that name-space collision would invalidate the CE RW) but I know of people with a Passion weapon and I've got a Passion armor on DaintyFella.  So name space collisions aren't fatal...

ZenPdH

So if we look at the colliding rw's and if i get it right, then there will be no problem, because they are need different items and they have different runes.
So if they were implemented, nothing will be overwritten, they just coexsist (with the same name but different stats) next to eachother?

Ja, that's what we have already (Passion DolOrtEldLem and Passion NefEldRal).

I suspect that the item type and the rune order determine what affects are assigned to the completed object, the name is just one of the things assigned.  This is supposing that the name itself has no effect on the completed item, and could be changed in the recipe without changing the other effects of that recipe.  So if Rain (BerChamBer) were renamed Deluge, hats already made with BerChamBer would still be called Rain (and those from before June would still have +4 skills), but those made after CE1.11 would be called Deluge (and have +4 skills if CE changes the effects of that rune word back to the pre-June set).

@chaos: Is it easy/difficult/impossible to change the names of our rune words where there is a name space collision?
Do you need English names to replace the overloaded names (e.g. Rain => Deluge)?

ChaosEmpire

i m confused...we have to passions?
in runes.txt ther eis only one..probably one has the same name as result..but in txt files there is not a double one...

Yes we have two passion rune words.  I've heard of many people making Passion (DolOrtEldLem) phase blades for Enchantresses, and I've made Passion (NefEldRal) armor currently on webwalker::DaintyFella

So: socket up a pair of swords and put them on a Barb

Passion DolOrtEldLem (any weapon)
Passion NefEldRal (any object)

Prove the point: many different rune words can have the same name.

My guess: No two rune words, same name or no, can go in the same object type with the same rune order. So if we had an armor rune word with Sol Um Um, it would be overwritten by the 1.11 rune word, regardless of what the two were called.
