kicked out of SP game

I'm running a SP 86level Amazon, with Blood Raven Set equipped, using Rune Word "Broken Promise" , I beleave..;)
Not sure of the rune word anymore,,, can't high light it to check. (darn)

This happens in all levels of the game, Nor, NM & Hell, with all levels of arrows, plain, blue, rare & equice.

Everytime I move the cursor over the bow, I get dumped out of the game to the desk top.

I using Windos XP Pro, on  1.2 mhz AMD chip, vido on motherboard, SIS motherboard. 

Yes I Have reinstalled both, D2 LOD v 1.10 & CE v7.59.
D2LOD v 1.11 in an other directory, and has not been run since reinstalling the game.
No I don't run CE on-line yet & I have not been on-line with D2LOD, since I reinstalled it.

If you need more INFO, let me know. I can E-mail a system print out.
No error messages/bug reports generated by game or windows.

I hope ypou can help me with this problem, put a lot time in the zon.

this is a well-known bug... too many stats on an item... the only solution is to use another item or to avoid to move your cursor over the item...

Remove one part of the Set before you mouse-over the Bow, this reduces the total number of lines the game tries to print in the limited space available.  This reduces the number of lines from so-many-it-crashes-the-game to lots-but-the-game-can-handle-it.

The problem is packing 5 pounds of poop in a 4 pound bag...

its jsut an overflow, has never been designed for so much stats..and a zod maks it even longer(my "fault")

Chaos should change the name of r63 to "nuke".
(I wonder if the damage attribute could be changed to "5-50 spectral hit" instead of spelling out each element separately)

Use S     G    stuff for matching funerals in SP when I need to just wack'em to keep my sanity;)

I understand an over flow problem, but never had one act like this before.

Afaik there isn't an Affix like that.

yepp, it was a huge hack and slay in the TXT files to get the zod working like it is now

probably i shall remove the ZOD from some powerfull runewords, and change it with other...

Maybe change to OHM were Ok.
So the RWs wouldnt lose that much dam.

ZOD in a rune words has not caused a problem I've heard of: it's been a completed set (BloodRaven's larger set e.g.) when the bow was socketed and 1 or more ZOD's put in.  Then the bow attributes + set bonus lines + ZOD mod lines overflowed causing the crash.

Simple quick fix (hehe like I *really* know what would be 'quick') is drop the 2% enhanced cold/fire/lightning/poison damage, decreasing the display by 4 lines.  Zod already does pleanty of damage, so the missing 2% might not be missed badly; increasing the other 3 damages from 10-50 to 15-75 would probably (over?) compensate while keeping the line count reduced.

atm a zod is more effective than rainbow facets (especially in rings) for caster chars with more than 2 elements.

Trust me to not notice this fact...  Zod in a ring socket are rather powerful!  Ditto in the rings of a LF javazon.
