Mercenary Trouble??

Just changed my mercenary from a act 1 rougue to a act 2 guy,im lvl 65 and my new merc is lvl 47 but he wont lvl up(i have leveled up 4 times and he still goes up very slowly,but doesnt lvl up). Is there a reason for this??( I tried changing him to another act 2 merc to see if that would help but it made no difference).Any help would be appreciated

the merc has the same exp restrictions as the characters so you have to level him in areas where the monsterlvl is +- 5 compared to the merclvl

Hmm where im using the merc im at furtherest point in the game and am leveling up quickly at lvl 65 and so on...?So by right he should be leveling up really fast??

So you should be leveling him up in tristram, I think.

Thanks very much for the translation,is very much appreciated.Will this work in making my mercenary catch up in levels also as he is still currently level 47 and im now 67 and in act 3 of lets rock mode .(my merc has trouble not dropping the the teddy on a regular basis) :) :)
