probably hey watch their hips until their is enough fat..if not..you need to catch more food..even it is winter.......

A silver tip grizzly?
A Kodiack?
A cold polar bear?
Grampa Kodiack bear, biggest of them all, chasing all those younger ones. The females I mean.
You would not worry about fat hips, just where you next meal would come from.
