Topic: Can someone explain tempering?

I saw the list of recipes for tempering at the wiki, but I'm trying to find out other info. I searched the forums for 'temper' and 'tempering' but didn't have any luck


Basically I'd just like to know how many times can you temper something, what can be tempered, etc. PRety much anything there is to know about it. I don't remember this at all from back when I used to play, but it might not have been around in LOD 1.08.

only rare items can be tempered and each item only once

just take for example a rare armor, cube it with 3 hearts and watch the result
