Rune Cubing not working

:s499:  Having some trouble with the runes in cube.  I downloaded the CE 755. the only prob I seem to have is that when I put three like runes in the cube they don't ungrade to the next rune anymore. Please help

I think this recipe is a) deleted or b) up from thul you need a certain gem to upgrade.

I think it is a) but in fact getting runes in this modification is very easy :) Just get some eggs, cube them and hope for high-runes or rightclick on hearts to get a zod rune.

Higher runes can be downgraded: Put a rune into the cube and transmuting it gives you the next lower rune. For example you put a "ist"-rune into the cube and you will get "mal"-rune, transmute again and it will be "pul" then "lem" and so on.

:happy10: cool, i thought it might be something like that. I more q's though what do you mean about the eggs? When I cube eggs all I get are dolls.

You get dolls when you cube egg shells.

When you cube complete found eggs, you get different items - perfect gems, runes, dolls, elixirs ...

If you use the skill Find Potion you may find souls which transform to complete eggs by clicking ;)

I think you always put more than one egg into the cube. Try only one egg and you will get (just as drow said) a random item (which drow had listed). In fact there is a chance that you will get a random rune from el to zod :) but do not forget to rightclick the "rune" ^_^

I have (recently) cubed runes (7.60d).  You mention only having downloaded 7.55... the rune cube recipes were not enable somewhere in the time frame of 7.55 but have been re-enabled.

If you are SinglePlayer and like the skelliemancer, don't upgrade to 7.60... the skellie got nerfed and corpse explosion got broken; the psy assassin got nerfed heavily.  If you're playing on the realms, you need to update to 7.60e and take the bad with the good.

Yes, rune cubing doesnt work but thats okay cuz runes are sooo easy to find.  trust me, you'll find more runes than you can use.  i have 40 zods on a mule, and about half the stash full of runes down to Ist, and im only in act 5 hell.  between eggs and hearts, its easy to get w/e you want.  so just runeword away and dont worry about getting more runes, they'll come
