Help plz with Black oils

Ok maby a stupit ? but i want 2 b sure -  How many oils max can u add 2 a item?  4 example  Oil of Mastery ---> a RW bow

U can add as much as u want till u reach a certain limit.
This is (i think ) 63-127 absolute Damage and something higher than 2000 Defense.
So no Problem with Defense if u dont have REALLY much Oils ; )
