any 1 know some possibility to have 2 diablos on pc? one in diferents versions?

You can make this by copying your diablo2 folder - example d2-lod und d2-ce.

Then you only have to rename the folder with the d2 version you want to use - to the original name d2 or the name where you installed diablo2.

like drow-elf said, you would need to make two different folders for it. And if you want to get patch 1.11, then you need two different anyway, one to stay on 1.10 for CE, and the other to do whatever with LOD

some of you, really unbelievable, will switch from CE to Blizzard sometimes...

Here comes a first HowTo:

- Disable CE with the CE Switching Tool
- Copy the following files to a folder like 110savedfiles:

patch_d2.mpq
storm.dll

Patch to 1.11 and have fun playing on BNet

if you want go back to ce and never go back to 1.11 just overwrite the 1.11 files with those from the 1.10 backup
but if you want to switch later ... copy same files from the above list (1.11 versions) to another folder like my111files

and then overwrite and activate ce

Simply use 2 folders:



Diablo II (original location)


and then one of these 2 names, depending on withc version is just active and inactive
