Topic: Item Mod Stacking

I had a question about item mods.

For Example, I have an item, lets say, a short sword, it adds max damage based on level , lets say, 1 per level, and im level 100, the sword does 2-107 damage.

this is all well and good, but...

What if the sword was rare, and i wanted to temper it with three horns? the horns add 5 max damage per level, would the exsisting effect remain, and the effect from the horns stack on top of it to make it +6 damage per level, or would the effect from the horns overwrite the +1 per level effect on the sword making it +5 per level?

I have been tempering my rare items that add damage based on level with jawbones, for fear that the effects do not stack, and it would be better to have both damage based on level, aswell as elemental damage based on level, instead of losing the original effect =)

If anyone knows, please enlighten me, i would try it myself, but frankly, if someone can tell me, i dont want to use Horns if i dont have to, i do not have many.

The effects stack up, so u have the +5 per lvl on top of the allready exsisting maxdmg/lvl.

I feared the same in case of a rw, but now i have wonderfull +8 max / lvl on a beautifull giant thresher. (Style is (nearly) everything )
