Aktion: unique Ring aufgehoben

Effekt: Game crashed, irgend eine dll Fehlermeldung, die ich idiotischerweise nicht aufgeschrieben habe...
Amazone nicht mehr spielbar --> Einklinken nicht möglich, falsche Daten.
Beim Versuch ein TCP/IP Spiel zu starten stürzt das Spiel ab -->

Andere Chars und Trade Stash gehen zum Glück noch.

also obs ne möglichkeit gibt weiss ich atm nicht ich hoffe du hast backup files gemacht?

was den fehler angeht ich vermute es ist das was chaos neulich angesprochen hat: wenn du zu viele "kleine" items im inventar hast (also welche die nur 1-2 felder verbrauchen) dann kann das game crashen... falls du den char wieder zum laufen kriegst solltest mal prüfen ob vielleicht einfach nur das inventar voll mit pgs, scs, körperteilen usw is

backup existiert eins von letzter woche, das kostet mich dann allerdings meine ersten drei seelensteine und zwei überringe. deshalb bin ich wohl auch so verzweifelt. *seufz*

viele kleine items, schon möglich... ich hab viele charms und ringe im inventar allerdings bin ich der meinung, dass ich schon deutlich mehr kleinkram im inv hatte und nichts passiert ist... *shrug*

@olfmo: we did not have a "game crash", rather, the save&exit -> re-play character action resulted in some items missing.

what the OP needs is a character editor able to delete things from a character's personal inventory, cube, or backpack.  Probably, emptying the belt would suffice since the character faulted on picking up one item.

@chaos: Is it possible to write a utility that would empty the belt (delete items in the belt from the caracter while on disk), so folks like the OP could try to save an overloaded character?

@chaos: for a later version, when we attempt to load an overloaded character into the game, if the cube would drop onto the ground (scattering contents), the character could (probably) finish loading. (if the cube is in the stash, I don't know what could be done for an overloaded character). 

Alternative: could the Mod show the size of the save-file currently, so we can see if we're pushing a limit that could really hurt us? 

Suggestion 1: in the Stash Window, just below where gold and max gold show there is a small space sufficient to show this.
Suggestion 2: just to the right of the ping value shown when "/fps" is entered, there is space for file size. "/filesize" might be a good key to display this value.

Just my thoughts, and sorry for not being unable to express things in German.

it might be possible to adjust a LoD SP Character editor - just try, but I don't think Chaos would like this. If it is really the char size your suggestions would be quite helpful

u can´t use the char editors from lod for this cause the destroy the new-ce-specific items such as the ss

Maybe it would destroy the ss - but you could try - no  more ss but a working char
