Why is everything else socketable?

Hi. I don't understand this logic -
In ChaosEmpire, everything is socketable, rings, Javalins etc.. except Arrows! Why? If you're able to socket your rings and amulet, surely socketing arrows would not make a bow-a-zon over powered. They already come in rares, so you could throw a runeword into some arrows and it would be cool. Just my 2 cents, maybe this could be fixed in the next update?

to powerfull, think of wisper in 450ed/ias arrows, to trong. and maybe i isnt possible, btw not everythign is socketable, shoes and gloves arent sockestable

i've seen arrows with 400%ed+, so i think the max. is the same as the max "normal" rare items. if it would be possible to socket rws in arrows, it would be definitely overpowered. example:
rare bow with 400+% ed with rw AND 400+% ed arrow with rw, way too much damage.

Rune Words in Arrows would be extremely powerful. Think "Blood", "Venom", "Melody", or "Patter" in addition to the arrow's base mods, plus the bow base mods and rune word.
A single socket would still be powerful (having the same effect as a third ring) but not as severe. Would a single socket on arrows seem "overpowering" as multi-socketed arrows would be?
I'd think the mod should be tweaked: the *quiver* should have the mods, not the arrows thenselves, so any arrows you pick up to re-load that quiver (by clicking on the "spare" quiver while it's on the ground) get the equipped quiver's mods, so you'd pick up quivers by mouse and identify them to see if you want to change quivers.
I'd be happy if we could *gamble* arrows, but...
