Spyware installed by links from google

I used lavasoft.de's AdAware to clean my system so a second run showed *nothing* bad.

Entered CE home page, clicked top link (D2 stuff). Got a google page of links.

re-ran AdAware, nothing turned up.

First link shows was for D2legit.com.  Clicked and went to top page of D2Legit.com
Re-ran AdAware, got two new items:
cookie @server.iad.liveperson.net
cookie @statcounter.com

Second link was IngameParadise.de  1 new item:
cookie @server.iad.liveperson.net

Third link was D2sale.com (I didn't allow the activeX stuff to run)
cookie @server.iad.liveperson.net

Fourth link was to FreeGiftWorld.com.  No new items from this site.

Fifth link was ebay.  3 new items
cookie@apmebf.com
cookie@qksrv.com
cookie@mediaplex.com

6th link was to d2items.com  1 new item
cookie@server.iad.liveperson.net

7th link was to DiabloQueen.com.  No new objects.

8th link was DeftD2.com.  No new objects.

9th link was PJItems.com.  1 new object:
cookie@server.iad.liveperson.net

10 link was BattleOn.com.  No new objects.

Cookies that AdAware objects to, I object to.  So there are a few sites I'll avoid clicking on in the future.

why dont you set your webbrowser to not accept 3thrd party cookies without your approvement?

normally mostly every page in the web sets such cookies...
and spyware and inbformation collecting cookies is a difference


those cookies collect information about visited webpages...to give you like google ad also do, ads for your iterests...they dont do anything other...so..i delete the on regular base...
or use pestpatrl with cookie blocker
