CD-ROM driver error

Hello.So I have Diablo 2 LOD with 1.10 patch and I installed the 769 version of Chaos Empire Mod.I Activated the Mod,but when I click "Diablo II.exe" I get an error saying"Please make sure your Diablo II Expansion Disc is in your CD-ROM Drive, then click on 'Retry'." I have it mounted on Daemon Tools,but still I get the error.It is because I must actually have the original CD in the CD-ROM and not the Image one,mounted on Daemon Tools ?

CE will not run on a mounted image, you will need the real CD in the drive... or...

daemon tools should work fine normally

maybe the image is not ok

take a look at the options for mounting images.

in daemon you hjave several emulation things

also, did you tried to start game exe directy instead of d2 exe

I have had the same problem as well ... CD not being reconized.

ASUS laptop i5, running win7

btw, the newest package does not need a cd in drive at all
