Topic: installing chaos empire on windows 7, need help

im trying to install chaos empire on my windows 7 computer and having errors i know how to install it on on my xp computer. i ran the 769.exe file and choose the location and everything

then i ran the mod activator and got a missing file error saying file bnclient.dll is missing

any help would be nice

open d2 folder, cut n paste the bnclient.dll onto desktop, than cut n paste back to d2 folder. than click on activator.

you may have to do the same with multiple .dll's

I had to do this myself but with vista not windows 7, should not be much different.

i did it and it worked for the first file it prompeted but then the second one which is smackw32.dll did not work the same way
