The Wanderer from Act 3 never dropped the Doll Sta

I am using version 7.49e.

I have killed him a few times, but he never drops the stash.  Just to be certain we are talking about the same guy...the Wanderer is that guy in the beginning of the act that you could never kill before right?

EDIT:  I see now that he only drops one of the items that you need to use in a cube recipe to get the stash.  The recipe in the readme is not clear at all.  What exactly do you need to put in the cube to get the stash?  I have played all they way through normal difficulty and I have never seen a "black key".

the wanderer only drops the stash if ure in nm or hell difficulty

That kinda stinks.  Waiting that long to get the stash and all.

So, if I want to create one with a cube recipe where can I find a "black key"?

you can create one with wirrts leg (u can find it in tristram) and 2 horadric scrolls (thats why you get 3)

you can find the 'black key' in the dungeon near the flyer wp
there's a monster called damien which drops the key

damien is able to drop black key, search is a nice service in this forum...

I even went the extra mile and looked up 'black key'.  I then did a search on 'schwarz schlüssel', but couldn't understand anything in them.

I tried the formula with two horadric scrolls and wirt's leg, but that yielded nothing.

I'll post a formula here when I finally figure it out for those that are as confused as I am about how to get a doll stash.

doll stash is surely 2 hora scrolls + wirts leg..(must have a white name,not red)

Thanks for the info.  Damien is in the Swampy Pit level 3.  Don't bother going in after him unless you are level 60 or so.  I had two level 31 people on him with fanaticism active and didn't even so much as scratch him at all.

I guess the quickest way to get a doll stash is to just make it to act 3 nightmare.

the quickest is to use the 2 of he 3 hora scrolls from start up, go to tristram..and cube it...

yeah thats because in 7.49e  it's just 2 horadric scrolls and in 7.49e+ and higher it's 2 horadric scrolls+wirets leg
