First,,,, Hello Joe.

I need help!  I want to try the 7.16 version.

I have a fresh install of D2 with the 110 patch from here (WinXp sp2).  I have installed the 7.16exe from here but I cannot interact with some of the items in the game.  I cannot pick up the teddy charm, and I cannot hold 2 of the same items, such as elixirs and chocking gas.  My chest is 10 x 10 size and my inventory is 6 x 10 size.
If i pick up some items with my inventory closed they disappear and if I try to put a magic elixir into my open inventory it boots me out of the game. I have installed and activated the whole folder 3 times, following the instructions listed in this thread, each time with the same results.

I see posts regarding a 7.16a.zip file, is this different than the one from the old files archival area which is an .exe file, if so can  some one give me a link for the 7.16a.zip file.

If the files are the same, any suggestions on what is wrong... also the Chaos realm doesn't stay in the bnet area on loading , I have to use the GWE editor every time I start the game.  I did execute the cc.reg file in the d2 folder.  Also could I get the proper realm address for the Gateway editor, if there are more than one I would like to try both, as my ping is sometimes really high from the States and disconnects are common and annoying as the game stays but I still get booted on a regular basis, (this is not a new problem).

Yesterday was a little update from 716 to 716a.

this includes a bigger inventory.

You need to uninstall 716 and copy 716a over it.

Activate it with the Activigator.

I have searched for over an hour and I can't find the 7.16a.zip file, could I get a link or a cut and paste to download the correct version.

schau doch einfach in die item liste für 7.16
nen paar rezepte stehen drin

und nein ne puppenkiste gibt es nciht dafür muste ich keine Rezepte löschen.

du brauchst 716 eig garnichtmehr nurnoch das update..

wenn du vista hast empfehl ich dir den D2 Ordner auf den Desktop zu machen.
Da der "Programme" Ordner manchmal einige sachen nicht zulässt bzw. einfach verschwinden lässt wenn du da was reinkopierst.

So, also erstmal natürlich ein riesiges DANKESCHÖN an Joe für diese Möglichkeit.

Auch wenn ich einige nicht überreden konnte, sind wir (zumindest in HC) eine kleine, lustige und nette Truppe :)

Chillar (Paladin... DER König hehe) und ich (Assassine) haben auch nun die Hölle durchgestanden
und Baal Hell mit viel List und Taktik gerade so geschafft (Grüße an dieser Stelle an die drecks Acid Beasts ^^)

Wir brauchen auf jeden Fall noch mehr Leute hier. Weil... Die HC'ler waren vor den SC'lern durch Hell.. und das kann doch nicht angehen oder?

Also Leute, kommt und lernt bissl CE OldSchool ;)
