Topic: Buggy doll stash

Okay, I know my bug reports are a pain, <Grin> There are several things, so I'll do a narative after the bug rerport.

The doll stash would lose the Viky skill, repeatedly. I would have to to click on it, in the Inventory and put it back to get the skill again. This happened 15 to 20 times in the game.

Okay, now the narative;
Joined game "A3_LR" in act 4, server chaosroot 2 VM3, bdpf ping = 285, Brummer55 = 151
Played for a while, timed out or lost connection, after I returned to town and morphed the cube items.
Returned to game with a better ping of 157, bummer55 also timed out once, that I know durring this time.

A nerco joined the game, ran River of Flame and Chaos Santuary, leaving the last seal & the forage quest for me to do.

I wacked my way to the City of the Dammed way point and joined the nerco in the River of Flame.
Found the forage adn did the quest, clearing the seal. Jopined the nerco in th Chaos Sanctuary and cleared the last seal with him. < Grin > We killed Diablo and I went to act 5 and died, just outside the gate.

There would be no way for me to retreave my body, as the nerco left the game at this time. I was the only one left in the game. I took the hit of lost experance and left the game to get my body in a different game.

I joined a POC game, did not have to get body. (first thing not right) Went to clear cube and mule items from cube.
(Second thing wrong.) Cube was empty, all Items lost.

The last thing wrong [witch really pisses me.] I lost a level, including the Forage and Diablo quests.

I spent a long time fighting my way to the City of the Dammed way point, which I now have. < A very smale smile >

Now I go back and redo Act 4,,,,,GGrrr [Censored big time]

With the good ping rate I had I should not have lost anything. As I have said before, something is wrong with the save part of the code. There should have been a save when I went into ACT 5. I did not rush out the gate, I repaired items, putting them in the cube.

From what I can remember, the save I now have is from right after I got the City of the Dammed way point.

The big question is, am I the only one that is have this problem?

Are other players having simular problems and not reporting them?


Off topic & just for the hell of it.
I enjoy playing CE on-line and listining to Cubs base ball on the radio. The sad part of it is, this is the last weekend of Base Ball for the Cubs for the year. American foot ball does nothing for me, so that just leaves CE & Rock and Roll, till spring of next year. < A Sad Big Smile >

The reason which could explain all your problems is the known bug of a too big char save game.

Do you carry gem bags, oil barrels and bodypart caskets onto your char?

With the found items in the cube your char then could eventually got a too big savegame size.

I hope it fixes this Old Gummy's Stupid problem, I seem to have been dumb.
Thanks again for spotting it.
Will make post if this fixes problem.
I'm now removing, Barrels, Caskets & Gem Bags from Inventory.
