Repeated sound loop / amulet

The sound / wave tone of a dropped amulet repeats in the back ground.
The first time it stopped after using way point to cold plains.
In cold plains, killed monster who dropped an amulet. The repaeted amulet bell tone started again.
It is faint in the background, repeating once or twice a second.
I have screen shot of rouge camp.
I was / running a lvl 9 palidan with lvl 8 rouge merc.
Palidan, using cross bow, doll stash with find +1, with 8 dolls stashed.
Have used a number of elixers for experence.

My location: USA, Fox Lake, North of Chicago, ILL.
Using DSL & router, SBC is the ISP.

Joe in both cases it was a blue one, as for type.  I have no idea, as I didn't keep.
I'm sorry that I didnot notice.
I have screen shot of merc & character, inventory.
The amulet was not identified or high lighted.

There are more sound loops I believe.

The repeated sound of the 'Mosquito Nest' doll drives me nuts...
