servers split

There has been annoucements in games about splitting servers? one for donators and one for non donators,,I assume because of the cost of servers? I realize running this mod is not cheap,,,I wish everyone would donate, I realize that its not possible for some people to donate....not everyone is able to do this,,,We donate every month because we like to play this mod. but could we get some more info on the server split? I have read the news section,forum news and donator only boards, and of course international ,,,but there is no info posted that I can find...so we where curious about what we read in game ...
