Position of stash
« on: June 24, 2006, 01:13:30 pm »
Hi everyone

I have been playing CE single player for a fortnight now, and I'm wondering if any other SP'ers like me are annoyed with the placement of the stashes.

I don't know why the stashes are not in town - is there a reason for their being in (what seem to me like) odd places? How do people do MF runs when you have to go out of your way to stash your loot?

Apart from this it seems a pretty cool mod :))

Thanks

Mark.

it´s just better for muling, if your items lieing around sb. might think they r 4free, wont he?
and it´s just that ce is something totally other then vanilla, and chaos shows that as often as he can^^
but u r right it´s annoying in sp

btw in ce you don´t do mf runs like in vanilla(normal lod)
the only thing you could call mf runs r the dungeon runs(dg is under nilhatak, 17 levels)

I personally like the stash in River of flame, its very easy to get there, but when muling i use the one in burial grounds, since the mules are all in act 1 ^^
and its not that far with that not so secret passage in the bottom of rougue encampment.

After having to reinstall D2LOD and Ce after a hard drive clitch;;;;;;;;; GRRRRR

I MADE THE MISSTAKE OF HAVING TO USE THE RELOADER FORR 7.66. Grrrrrrrrr

The lack of older blizzard patches for the MPQ files in the down load section caused me some grif, till I stumbled on an old d2LOD mpq patch file that was miss saved. <<SMILE>>

Now I have to get use to the new locations for the stash. This is a problem with my older high level characters that I'm running to the bitter end. <smile>  :s513: :don:

@ce How about an unloader patch for the SP players, that would put the stash back where it was. (Just for SP use)
As for finding the apc characters, use the map to find them. Ha  Haa ! Thats what this squint eyied guy always done.

Joe ya have done a good job with this MOD, but that full7.66upd sp3 sure has problems,,,
Tried using three freash down loads and none worked. Bit the bullet and used the reloader update.
The downlaodable files need better readme files or idz files with a discription.

I have missed alot, when I switched from dailup to Dsl and being down for thrree weeks.

Now I try to donate again.
bye
