Hello, got this item "A really suspect herb What happens when I smoke this shit"
When I drink it, can something really bad and permanent happen to my char? Like losing 5 strength forever?
What benefits it may have?

Hi, and welcome to chaos empire,like ce said does nothing bad, and yes there is alot of differences from original d2 thats the reason we play it ,we all came from d2 and most of us like it so well we will never go back,but this is not d2 ... like we are a community where people help people;) you can actually get and answer from a moderator ..there is usually always someone on to help or answer questions, (best thing is liars, theives and cheats are banned) and people are always willing to help you out with quest problems... if you haven;t tried multiple player  it is great ! you meet people from all over the world....and most are great people.. most of us play on europe realm and we have a blast!!!!  we are always glad to see new members....so  welcome and come play

As I said in my first thread, I play SP. This is only a personal preference, I just like it. Nothing to do with the fear of cheaters etc... I am sure you have a clean player community. Maybe I may drop in the realm sometime, who knows :) But my main interest is in SP for last 2 years of Diablo'ing.
