Topic: major problem - cant cube Kalim's flail - no words!

hi

i hav a bit of a problem.  i continued playing my game as normal, started act 3, on version 7.65.  at same time i was downloading the new version, 7.66 SP3 full version, so i can upgrade my version of CE.

i got 2 of the cube words, YOU & FOUR.  got my waypoint in Greath Marsh, then exited the game to install new version.

i deactivated 7.65, uninstalled, then installed 7.66, activated and played as normal.

problem is this - when i got to Lower Kurast - Stormtree (Thrasher) did not drop the cube word NEED.  i thought i missed something - so i exited, went back into game, started flayer jungle again, made sure i killed every bug & monster, then entererd lower Kurast - and still Stormtree (Thrasher)  did not drop the cube word.

i went online to check if it got moved to different monster - saw it did not.  the killing is not from magic either.

i finished the rest of the act - up to the point where i now hav to cube the flail with the 3 words - but i am missing NEED.

i also thought if i uninstalled the new version and reinstalled it it might work - didnt either.

so - now what am i to do?

can i import a word from another game?  does anyone have one for me? 

is there  a fix for this?  how am i going to continue my game now?

please help!   desperate!

edit:  btw - i see we're not to do the charsi quest.... does this mean not do at all or finish as in give her an item to transmute/create?

cause obviously i did charsis quest before i installed 7.66 SP3, but not given her any item yet.

The drop monster for this word has changed (as mentioned in the readme of the new version).

Look in act1 or act2 for this word.
I don´t have played much of the new version, but i think this drop is in the darkwood of act1.

at least i'll get more eggs - love those things - feels like xmas when i get them

I have "Four" but don't know where the rest are.
Is there anyone that can make an update quests guide?

I found the darkwood one like right after I posted.
I'll go check Fireeye again.I remeber getting the act2 staff word from him.

*Update!
I killed Fireeye and he dropped "With" which I can't pickup.
So what now?

I am having the same problem I can't find   "need" and "four". I read the read me with the latest update and all it says is that some quest items have been moved, but it doesn't say where. I am gonna go clear darkwood but can someone tell me what location to check in act2?

location in act 2 should be lost city, chaos changed "with" from there to fireeye and the word from act 3 to lost city (hope i'm don't write s**t, haven't tested it yet)

One of the words drops in act 1 near the circle of shrines, the other from FireEye in Palace Cellar, level 3.

webwalker read the complete topic again and you will notice that he has the word from the shrines and that fireeye only drops an act2 word, not an act3 word, which one he's searching
