The Morph Amulett were disabled, cause the place in the Diablo2 files is limited and was needed for other recipes.

You find the actual recipes in the Itemlist.

You can find a actual itemlist for offline usage at the download section.

yeah i remember that... it was hell getting past those, but I digress.

I haven't played the game yet, due to some technical difficulties, but I can tell already that I's want to be a Chimera.

There is one file in the MOD that has such limited space, that the implementation of other features required scavenging the space used by the morph ammys.  Also they were a strain on the server, possibly because the impage/sprites were larger.

Still... having and Iron Wolf (fire) merc with a Diablo morph ammy is just *too cool*.

So, alas, (not "a lass") the morph ammy is dead and gone.  You can revert to an earlier version of the mod, create a morph ammy, and re-install the current version of the mod, but that character that has a morph ammy will crash on loading.  Likewise a character with an old teddy.

My son had the wish to keep a Butcher morph ammy on an assassin (MA) character, team up with parties, and whenever in a place where the butcher could be encountered, put on the ammy and charge (BoS) towards others characters.  They'd TP to town, and he (being a party member) would follow... just for nervous giggles...

but, alas, the morph ammy is dead and gone.

The crafted charm (known as the "token", too) could not be found.

This charm is for Singleplayers downloadable in the Singleplayer Support Items.

And for online players only available about the token-holders (i´m one of them).

Nein, in der aktuellen Version sind diese nicht vorhanden und auch nicht mehr nutzbar.

Edit: Webwalker: "No, in the current version these (cube formula) are missing, and moreover, (morph ammys are) not usable (if made in previous versions)."

You find Wirret's leg in the Darkwood Forest. Cube it with two Horadric Scrolls (on a new char you have 6 in your inventory) and you will have a dollstash ;)

Itemlist
Look under "Cube Recipes". There you will find "Generate Set Item Recipes", "Generate Unique Item Recipes", "Doll Recipes" and "Teddy Recipes" which all need dolls to work.

Correct.
This is only for old amulets, which where made before the recipe was turned off. Some of them can be used in sp (if you find one on an old realm char), others will crash the char and you can not create a game which this char anymore (whitout removing the amu).

On the realm, all the recipes for the morph amu's are turned off, so there are/work none.

I don't have a readme by now, but can it be, that there is a certain version number indicated for those recipes?
If you are uncertain about some recipes, have a look at:
http://chaosempire.eu/d2items/index.php?action=cube
That should always be the current version.

I just curious, but why is thr reciep still left in the readme if we cant make them any more?  I spent a while looking for a good amulet for morphing to find out it doesnt work :/

1: You can make a separate install of D2-LOD-CE for a version that has the morph ammy cube recipe, and create morph amulets there.  Place them on "naked start" characters, and move the character file from the old version to the new.  If the char doesn't load, that morph recipe can't be used even indirectly.  Repeat until you have the ones you want that will carry over.

2: If I recall correctly (and the memory is old) the amulet generated is RE-ROLLED so it doesn't matter what attributes were on the old ammy.

3: I've never tried moving a "naked start" character from a new version to an older version, which (if it works) you can do to move the boss doll to the old version from where you find it in the new version where you can work the morph ammy recipe.

4: A morph ammy made with a character doll would be cool.  I look like a paladin (because I have a morph ammy on my barb character), my rogue looks like a necromancer (for the other morph ammy).

You can create the morph-amu in an older version and put it into the shared stash. You dont need to get the old character working in the new version.
