Topic: PLEASE HELP!

Alright...I haven't played CE since....well, it's been a long time.  There are been a lot of updates since then, and I don't even know what my old account was.  It's not on my computer, since I've gotten a new one.

The problem is, I've instealled the full version and the update pack, but I don't have an account.  Every time I try to register a new one, it tells me that the name is in use....which is impossible because I've tried at least a dozen name, some of which are my full name with numbers, and I still get the same result.  I've tried my regular battle.net account that I use with LOD, and that doesn't work either.

Could somebody PLEASE tell my why this is happening, and how I can get a new account?!

You can only register a new Game Account on the mainpage http://chaosempire.info and there under the button "Create D2 Account".

The ingame Account creation was disabled.

If you have some ideas which could be your old account write a message to Chaos Energy cause the Gameaccount will still exist.

To play online you have to make an inhabitant post at the inhabitant section here at the forum, otherwise your game Account won´t last long.

And i move this thread to the "International Support" section.

You should read the sticky threads there named "Welcome" and "Informations about changed Quests" cause there might be new informations when you come from an old version.

what message do you get?

wrong password? then send a pm with acc name and you e-mail to chaos

Yeah, that's what I get, so I sent him a message.  What time is he usually on?  US Eastern time, if you know it.  Forums are great, but I can see how it gets a bit like forum tag when you're international.  We get the same thing on bodymod.org.

just send him a pm, he will read it when he's on, or click on his name, show general statistics of this member and you will see at what time he's mostly online

Thanks, I appreciate it.  What's with the new change to the rules with the 'people' section?  I'm a bit confused about that.  When I signed up, I never received my confirmation email, although it lets me log in.  I'm fairly certain that I put the email address in right.

Oh, and when he sent me my password, he told me to change it in chat with /chpass.....how do I do that?

When I log into that new people account, it says 'Your affiliate account hasn't yet been activated by an administrator. Please wait for this activation before using your affiliate account.'

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just terribly confused and worried about losing my account!

Yeah, I got the password, so logging in is no longer a problem.  I just don't know how to change it.
