Title: Serious problem

Whenever I join games I get

Assertion Failure
Location: D2CommonUNITSUnits.cpp, line #1769
Expression : ptUnit

I got it the first time while i was gambling, and it hasnt gone away since. Can't join any games.

do you expect an answer right away?

for me it looks like wrong installation or wrong version... you got 7.60g?

No I dont expect an answer right away, I'm level 81 and I've been playing for a good while, so it's not installation. I was gambling one game and I got this assertion error and haven't been able to join games since. I'm just trying to get her fixed before work.

Shek, I had the same problem with my sorc.  I re-downloaded the 7.60g and applied the changes again and the assertion error has not reappeared.

Chances are it's not the same problem, but I thinks it's something quick and easy to try and rectify the problem.
