Hello from Canada here , i'am kinda addicted to this mod ,played it on and off for the last 4 or 5 months now , but i had a computer problem about two weeks ago and lost some stuff , i tryed downloading the 755.exe file needed to play Chaos right? and my virus checker said there was a virus in it , i think it was called (dropper.generic.wf) , is this a problem at the Chaos end?

I'am running AVG as well and it has done it to me on two machines now one with Windows 2000 and my other machine with XP professional ???

I have the free ver of AVG by Grisoft with no contact or teck suport
I tried a end run sending an e-mail to to a coputer teck to see if he can find out whats going on.
Till then to down load and install ver of mod.. turn of the anti virus protection, till you have installed the new ver.
Then turn on the anti virus program.
It is a work around of sorts.
Try to put a copy of you machine on zip disk or cd, because the install file will end up in the virus vault.

Still can't download. Get to 99.9% complete then I get an error. "Cant copy 755(1): Access is denied. The source file may be in use" I've shut off the virus scanner so I'm no longer getting that error. If I try to change the destination of where I want to save it the file also gives me a can not move error:access denied. So let it go where it wants by default and I still get the cannot copy error??
Thanx

Darn...
Did you delete it it from the virus vault and try changing the name of the download before saving.
And doubly make sure your virus scanner is shut off / disable or uninstalled..;)
Before you try again.
Sounds like the scanner was still active.
