Hi All
I wanna thank our members Eyeliner and Troulemaker for donating a Root-Server for ChaosEmpire Europe Realm
Always nice to see, that some people think my time and work is worth to support it!

so leuddz ist zwar nett, aba kein danke mehr^^,  *schäm und rot werd ;) *
haben wir echt gern gemacht, sonst hätten wir es net getan und nicht deswegen um 1000 mal danke zu hören.
habt ne meeeeeeeeeega menge fun auf dem server ! ! !
in größter hoffnung, dass das ding nie crashed.

pps.: die ganze arbeit hat ja leider sowieso CHAOS, also dankt ihm und den anderen ownern.

I m really disappointed about the feedback in this thread
Is it really so common, that nobody needs to thank eyeliner and troublemaker, and all other donators (server, work, time money) that nobody needs to say Thank You!

Look one post above urs, there it is said, that they don't wanna hear thousands of thanks.
So what do u expect? 500 posts of 'Danke, weiss das sehr zu schätzen und werde diese zusätzlichen resourcen oft nutzen!' or 'Dank euch für euer engagement, weiter so.' and so on...
I think it is clear that we are all thankfull for more resources. They know we are thankfull and they have done it because they wanted so and not for some 'blumige worte'. Thats how i interpreted the post of eyeliner.

as Zen[PdH] already said,i understood eye's post in the same way...
we all know it...they both(eye+trouble) know it too..
we are happy about every new server !

i expect much more people showing respect, and showing that the word community is not a word
I m really frustrated about thing like the website tecwar.net
instead of making such engagement here in our community forum... a user splits the community, and massivley spams on the server...
I m really unhappy about people which take bonuses from others work!
Also I heared that it is planed to make commercial use fron this website...so one reason more for me to work strict against such users!
Why making a special project instead of using the Community forum...
Chaos, who does not plan any longer a new version to support those users.
And I remember that in last 2 month only one donation has maked...it really seems to be a common service for most of those people here...and not all are only passive forum users...

ich wollte auch mal was zu den vorwürf sagen.
die seite tecwar.net ist eine reine private seite für ein private spieler gruppe.
ich weis nicht wie es zu der behauptung gekommen ist, das die seite komerzielle ziele hat.

i don't think, chaos wanted to say "you" use the game for commercial purposes. He just listed some things, which disappoint him and one of these things is your website.
But when I look at your site, I can only totally agree with chaos. Everything around ChaosEmpire is inside and around this Forum - so making a seperate website splits - as chaos said - the community. Inside this Mod shouldn't be any exclusive group, we are all more or less equal, nowhere any "Access denied", except this new forum on your website ;)
I myself would prever to see you close this "second CE community".
Oh and what I really wanted to say is:

... mich werdet ihr auf den server zwar nicht mehr sehen, aber trotzdem schön das es trotz der langen zeit noch leute gibt die die comm unterstützen.

Yes indeed, THX Eyeliner and Troulemaker, I played that sever and it ran very smoothly. I really appreciate you guys helping. All I can do is send funds, cause I wouldn't know what a root sever thing looked like!! I'm glad some people do and love this mod too. :)

Back some 40 years ago, when our Mom's passed us a plate of cooked carrots, she was a root server...
That said: @Chaos.. what would it take to put up a server here in the US?

Also: I got passed a note by a poster on alt.games.diablo that Blizzard sued people running a "private battle.net" and won, so I wonder if a server could be established here in the US. Is there any (ill)legal status information on Mod servers you could pass us?

1.) Tons of Thank you to Eyeliner and Troublemaker for Donating the server. It's much appreciated and the timing was great with the start of the new ladder season.
2.) I'd like to donate to this awesome mod. What options are available. (I dont like using Paypal as i dont trust it anymore)
3.) What would I need to do if I wanted to donate a server.
4.) Tecwar website is a place for friends to post what there main characters on Chaos Empire have and what items they need to improve there characters. We give items freely to those who need them. We do not trade at all. It is definitly not for commercial purposes. I see why you feel the way you do. Where on this forum could we do something similiar.

you can use trade section for example...it is not a problem to make a offer for free thread..
also clan forums are possible..but no clan has requested any..and the in game channels are unsed..

@aleksa die usermenge schrumpft aber bestaendig weiter..sow enig user wie diese woche online hatten wir lange nicht mehr
und server 7 ist weg
cx_one unerreichbar..die ksite spinnt..ich kann mich nciht mehr einloggen usw..

Und ich hab das Gefühl, dass immermehr Leute bei HC rumlaufen. Bei SC weiß ich das halt nciht, ich bekomme da nix mit. Woran kann das denn liegen? :(
Das mit den Mitgliederzahlen war auch eigentlich auf den Eyeliner-Troublemaker-Fanclub bezogen, deren Leiterin ich bin ^_^

naja das mit hc kann man schon erklären: viele user fangen ce erstmal mit sc an auch wenn sie vorher hc gespielt haben und steigen dann zu einem reset um... das habe ich letzte ladder schon bemerkt und scheint sich diese fortzusetzen...
(ich persönlich habs einmal versucht das reicht mir^^)

und wegen dem hc-spielen. ich bin auch der meinung, dass viele nach einem reset hc ausprobieren. das wird sicher aber wieder etwas legen, denn nicht jeder hat den nerv öfters mal von neu anfangen zu müssen, nur weil wieder mal ein paar bögies hinter der ecke standen. dass soll aber nicht abwertend klingen den sc-lern ggü. bin selbst oft genug dran verzweifelt, aber einen echten bären haut nix um ;)

Ich denk man muss auch einfach ein bischen mehr (oder einfach sehr gut) spielen - damit man bei hc bissl was erreicht (gute items und so) - weil man halt wenn man stirbt doch immer einiges - manchmal alles verliert.

Oder man hat einfach nicht Zeit und Lust dazu.
Ich würde mir evtl auch zutrauen HC zu spielen, nur ich weiß, dass ich total gefrustet wär wenns meinen Char zerreisst : D

2. Weil ich den Anfang nich gerne spiele.

@alien ich versuche eigentlich das forum breitbandiger zu bekommen, so das das game nur noch ein kleiens element ist..bisher noch erfolglos..
