Hello everyone

 I never did the CAIN quest until recently. In CGS Cain quest, killing the dragon that drops one of the 'words' was over a bush and nothing dropped! searched all over but no stone  :suicide:  did not save Cain!  oh well  I'll get it sometime.   Now this is my fault: i did not read enough about 1) Cain quest 2) soul stones ...... From what a seasoned player told me was that the only place to get the SOUL STONES is in the Cain quest
That in it self is almost impossible to find one, I mean you would have to make new players all time to try and get this highly sought after item.

turns out this person had 7 or so of these soulstones   ???????? luckily I guess?

Question is there another location to find these soulstones?   I was told no just Cain quest, but asking again.
Completing Cain q does one still have a chance to get one of these soul stones in another game?

Hi Kim

did you try to kill the last enemy in dungeon "Izual"
Do you open those golden chests?
Some oponnents in Tristram also can drop, not to forget the Diablo Clone if Stone of Jordan got sold...

well the most common place to find ss(soulstones) is cgs cain q from Chimera and also from the ancient diablo. The dragons only drop words for the quest, nothing else. And also, it doesn't matter if you complete the cainq or not, you can only open the übertristram once with each char.

As Joe said, there are other places to find ss, chests at andariels place or chests in the sinners are known to drop them sometimes (not too often) and also Izual in lvl 17
