Title: Surprise Eggs...
Post by: Tessera on March 08, 2008, 07:42:16 am
I still can't, for the life of me, figure out how to use these. I'm running the most current version (for those that remember me, told y'all I was gonna upgrade from Win98! :) ). The readme file isn't very helpful in finding their uses. Help?

But how many at once? One, two, six, twelve? I'm just confused...

Very good mod, by the way. Now that I can play it without it crashing constantly on me, I'm quite impressed.

Only one at a time

Actually, the use of the eggs is not limited to the one-at-a-time application.  If you are in search of dolls mainly, you may put an upper fragment + a lower fragment + a full egg to yield 2 dolls, guaranteed.  Otherwise, the egg has its normal various potentials.  But otherwise, one at a time is the way to go.  There is a set of html files under the support folder in your D2 directory that I think you'll find quite helpful and informative.  They include runewords, cube recipes, unique and set item lists, just to name a few.  Check it out when you have a few moments.  Beats having to chase down all that information on your own.

I Think you are talking about the "Itemlist" and the most accurate version is online.

Correct, I was talking about the itemlist.  I think because I am playing with a slightly outdated version, the online functionality of it was... nonexistant.  Looks like the link you supplied is just fine, though.
