Hi all,
First off, this is Great mod! Nice to have some new life breathed into to one of my favorite games.
I have a couple questions about the Socket recipes.
I am trying to add 4 sockets to armor. I know you can do it becuase I already have some armor with 4 socks. Unfortunately, regalrdless of the number of Perfect Gems I try to use, I get only 2 sockets int he armor.
Also, I am trying to add a socket to my finger covers but it does not work. The gems dissappear but the fingercovers do not change.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Shan

1: You can never change the number of sockets in any item that has sockets in it.
2: How many sockets a piece of armor can get depends on the piece, and there are two variable:
Armor Type
Item Level
For example a breastplate is always able to get 3 sockets, and it can get 2 or 1. Try a breastplate and 6 pgems.
Quilted and Ghost Armor, Leather, Hard Leather, Chain and Splint can only get 2.
Cuiriss can get 3, so can Mesh (exceptionals of breastplate and chain mail respectively)
Great Hauberk and Boneweave (elite of breastplate and chain mail respectively) can get 4.
Check http://chaosempire.info/web/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,8/ (go to "armors" button)
Also, I am trying to add a socket to my finger covers but it does not work. The gems dissappear but the fingercovers do not change.

Trying to do it in any glove or boot type armor will nor work. Sorry, I'd love to put IAS gems in my gloves!
Also you can socket belts of all types.
