Title: Lonely CE Adict
Post by: bdpf on August 26, 2006, 06:05:58 am
Now that Joe has done such a great job of making a great mod of D2LOD. ???

This old gummy spends 60 -80% of hgis time wacking & stacking monsters.
Looking 4 the nice ppl on-line to share a game, items or just to chat. <Grin>

Tonight at the server reset, I made something to eat a came back to find a EMPTY screen with no
beautyfull games to join.

Now on the forum, posting these chatering lines, for something to do with my deprived time. ???

With shaky fingers, I finish this post , to see if someone else wants to play. <smile>

Most of my friends don't play RPG D&D games or don't have DSL.
Lucky the  one that does, will not play on_line. She is very shy, but a better RPG player than me.
She also has a life, not adicted to RPG.

Grand kids Play Furadcadia and enjoy play and chatting there.

ps Wifes computer drives me nuts too.

The adict is having problems connecting to the server,,,,GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I hope is just me and the server is not down and affectting everyone.

The old Gummy also ran into an other problem, while leveling a mule to Lets Rock.
In act 2 got all the words before trying to enter the palce. I enterd and got killed on the first level. Had to leave the game, having no chance of retreving the body.
Entered a different game to get my body, which I did. Went to act 2 and was blocked from entering the place by the guards. I was able to pass them before.

So today I can't log onto the server,,,, Geee. The old adict needs a CE fix. <GRIN>

the best I can have is to poike out here my fixation with the CE Mod.

Cheers if you still able to play.

I will try again in a hour or so.

In the mean time hang in there old man .....? hey wait! i'm an old man too. any way i'll be playing later.

This has been a strange Labour day for me.
I start wirting again to fill my time. hahahah
Now I'm back on-line with CE, so thats on hold.
Still way behind down loading railroad graphics, almost a year now. Was three years at one time.
Steam locomotives the is, my main interest. <SMILE> Just love the cute wood burners.
They built the USA to what it is today. the rest were just improvement of design.
Diesel stinks,,,,, Wood smoke and steam with hot oil is perfume.

Will back to a game & lvln

This old Gummy is a X HO model railroad hobbyist.
I enjow old wood burning steam locomatives, thus steam, wood smoke and hot oil are perfume to me.
I also download railroad graphics / pictures of steam locomotives from railfan.net

Here is a link to the graphics archive of years of photos: http://abpr2.railfan.net/

For all you train fans go and enjoy. CE does cut into my time for downloading the train graphics. I'm again over a year behind, was only six months.

It's like wacking & stacking monsters, a great striss reducer. <Smile>

Sorry if I confussed anyone. <Grin>

Old Link & Pin trains played a big part of settling the US. ( Link & Pin are the form of the first type of couplers used on trains.) The Link & Pin were replaced with auto coupling knuckle type couplers here starting in the late 1880s. I believe buffers & chains are still used in parts of Europe and England. <smile>

Will I hope I have cleared up the confussion and I must confusse you some more by saying I don't like diesel smoke.
I still can remember the tail end of the steam era here in th states as I grew up.

ps; There still a large number faimlies here in the states that can say their familileis settled on the earily fronters. Mine settled in down state ILL. in the 1820 - 1830 when indians were still running around with no form of law enforcement other than your musket and hand axe. The family moved west with the fonter from back east. wrs
