Title: Missing Set Info
Post by: Darkkatgirl on March 15, 2006, 08:58:49 pm
Anyone have the full details of this set, its not in the set items list that came with CE SP3.

Black Death:
Mold Crust
Tentacle's
Purulence Bag
Smuldering Skull
Bite of the Viper

I would like to know what full set does and what type are each of the items.

Look here:http://chaosempire.info/web/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,8/

All the sets are there.  If you go to the white items page and compare the cross bows for speed, you'll see that upgrading the crossbow to exceptional will gain you 20% IAS.  Going Elite doesn't gain you enough increased damage to be worth the increased cost in Str to equip IMHO.

Taking the Robe to Mantle to get 6 sockets for 60% increased life and 30% increased mana sounds like a good idea to me, but 90% increased resists isn't bad either. (Robe only gets 4 sockets).  Life vs Resists depends on whether you prefer Burst of Speed or Fade.

The grand draw-back to this set is that it takes every spot that could hold a rune word.

Suggestion: look at Kirre Strike and Ranger's Sting (Long Battle Bow and Short War Bow respectively) as a source of Strafe, then get +skill and aura boosts from rune words.  "Delirium" would be an excellent hat with either of those bows.

(Don't blame Jellyfish for things that Squirrels do!)

Jellyfish are never off-topic.

These spineless, brainless floating blobs with venomous tentacles that drift through the sea, paralyzing more intelligent creatures and then digesting them alive, Jellyfish (Phylum Cnidaria) are the the subject of BlackKatGirl's sig line.

Jellyfish are a good representative species for human politicians.

I'm just pointing out that squirrels are more evil.  My son said so.  The rest of this discussion belongs in the Tavern of Geglash.

It's a quote from one of my favorite video games (other than CE :-p)
