Title: 7.57 upgrade problem
Post by: sidekick39 on May 05, 2005, 06:29:41 pm
Ok, so I installed the 7.57 before reading the readme. Bad move.  I deactivated CE before I installed the upgrade.  Now I get the "missing file-chaosempire.ce" warning.  How do I fix this?  Please tell me there is a way to fix this without loseing my characters, again!.  I have started over several times and i would prefer not to have to again.

Thanks for you fast responce, I will make another post after I have done this.

OK I did that,  deleted the .ce then reinstalled the 7.57.  But in the readme it says to leave CE activated when installing 7.57.  I cant asctivate CE.  Even after reinstalling the 7.57 I still get the same message.

757 must have a working 755 ...
if 755 is not activated..ad working-....dont update...
go into 0rg110 folder and start repair.bat
after that reinstall 755..activate it..and the overwrite 755 files with those from 757
