help me with problem loading ver 7.55

I uninstalled the newest version and wanted to go back to 7.55 so a redownloaded it and installed it. now it says assertion failure Location #307 Expression :Unrecoverable internal error 6f8be260 please help

Have you deactivated befor uninstalling?

Otherwise you now haven´t a clear 1.10 Installation and may have to reinstall Diablo2 at all.

yes i have deactavated it

Do you get this message while the installing or while activating?

when i load d2 i get that message ce is already actavated
