Topic: Crafted Items and level to equip

I just crafted a +2 flail, to make HotO, and *ack* it takes level 90 to equip! Before the HotO is put in!

I figured I'd have to keep crafting until I succeed at getting +2 all skills with a lower level to equip,
so I wondered: what is the minimum level to equip a flail that crafts with +2 skills on it?
(unfortunately crafted items can't be tempered, so the level to equip stays where it starts)

Also wondered if there's a listing of the affixes allowed on crafted items and the level to equip
(not all our affixes are on the Arreat Summit lists, and our requirement levels can be changed)

Lvlreq of crafted Items depends on their Affixes and their alvls.

Formula is Lvlreq = (maxlvlreq of the Affixes +3 * count off Affixes +10) or 98 (if lvlreq would be higher than 98)
Only the random Affixes, not the Affixes given by the Recipe count in this formula, so it doesnt depend on how much skills are on the flail.

If I understand you, Shinlos, a +2 all skills flail could be level 1 if all the *random* (non-craft-recipe) affixes were level 1.

If this is the case, the other half of the question: what is the lowest level character that can craft a flail with +2 all skills?  If those craft affixes *don't* depend on the crafter's level, then the answer is 1.

Level Req = (highest affix + (3* # of affixes)) + 10 means a crafted item with 6 affixes has a minimum level of 29?  (good to know, if I got it straight).

The Rw' s have a Level req. too. You will never get a Hoto with Level req.  29. I think Hoto is for Level 54 or 55.

The question is the crafted *fail* not the rw in the crafted flail.

Yes, putting HotO in a level 1 flail raises the level to max(Ko, Vex, Pul, Thul); that wasn't the question...

can you craft flails with level-to-equip of 1 and having +2 all skills... that is the question.

No, because +2 to skills is a high lv mod.

I think +allskills is a level 1 affix.  +2 to a class is level 48-67 to equip depending on what item it is on, but +2 allskills appears to be level 1.

I just crafted a flail with +2 allskills and it's level was 33.  HotO made it higher, but the +2 allskills apparently wasn't the reason.
