In german school we`ve learned oxford english, mumbling (is that right so?) was not allowed. (that was more than 20 years ago)
But there is a bunch of germans who cant speak and write their own language too..., i think this fact makes it different to translate this by a program- or they learn english from the US rappers what will be *oooooopsed* in this forum .)
If i believe what i read this morning in a german magazine (Geo) about what poeple eat in other countries then the US folks begin breakfast with fastfood :P
It is too early to eat something if i get up, so coffee will be my main drug this morning.

Similar effect from garlic, onions, sauerkraut, or dish soap... that's not "hit blinds target" that's "idiot blinds self".

But, from Pizza Fury, you're right it would be "Hit Blinds Target",  and also "attract" if done in act 2 or 3 with all those scavengers and little-kids-with-big-knives-and-big-appetites swarming anything covered in hot pepperoni slices.

@GubbelGubbel: even the oxford english we already learn in our schools is translated hoorbile by the translating sites...
anyway, the last 3 years of school (or the last 4, i don't remember very well^^) we started really talking in english lessons, one reason was our good teacher of course, but by speaking you learn more than just the oxford english

in my opinion the best way to learn english (or any other language for that matter) is to speak it a lot, to read it a lot (literature, not school crap^^) and to watch movies in that language

i started about 3 years ago (again i can't remember exactly) with some movies, now everything i watch is english (except for german television of course, but i hate 99% of the program, so i don't watch more than 1 hour per week i'd say - and maybe 20 hours english stuff on my computer :P)

Agree, i think the best way to learn is visiting countries where english is spoken.
I´m thinking about reading english books, but i only read in bed and after 20-50 pages im sleeping with my nose on the book.
Ok, there are exceptions....
This fact makes it harder to read something in a strange language.
Maybe it would be easyer to start with a book i already know (no...not Harry Potter)

@olfmo: "Idiot Blinds Self" is called "Chance to Cast Cloak of Shadows" in D2LOD.  My Shadow Master casts this at ALL the wrong times.
@GubbelGubbel: I tried reading in the shower, that didn't work either.  I kept dropping the soap.  Reading books in strange languages like Swahili or Hebrew is not hard... pronouncing it correctly or understanding it is another matter.
@chaos: Replace "fire" shrines with "magic mushroom" shrines that will spawn 100 monsters with 1 life that do 0 damage, -1  experience.

@blueman: I have not seen many iron golems, because they evaporate so fast.  It seems that the better the item, the faster they evaporate. For fun: Make one from an oculus or Arm of King Leoric for the CtC teleport or bone prison when struck.  (it's been so long since I had an I.G. I don't remember if CtC works as an I.G.)

So... if we made a new golem to replace the iron golem, say a BlueGolem, what attributes would he have?
    CtC Dim Vision on striking (blind drunk)
    CtC confusion when struck (bar fights... it's never just two guys)
    Holy Freeze aura (heavy drinkers rarely win the 100m dash) or Holy Shock (the things they say!)
    Tends to stick to walls (they need holding up!  Honest!)
