Du
Du hast
Du hast mich!
(now... do you have me, or hate me, or hate me because you have me, or do you just have to hate me...)
Yes, their songs are mostly in German. There are translation in various places, so I've become familiar with the meanings to an extent.
There is WAAAAY too much truth to the phrase "We're all living in America".
And I have kids, and some of them live on Heavy Metal, and Germans are *excellent* at heavy metal...
Panzer Kampfwagen IV, Leopard II, Rammstein, the list goes on.
And my kids LOOOVE anime, and some Rammstein songs have become sound tracks to anime-like videos... so has Evanescence, and I suppose many others. I prefer Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, chai-cough-ski (won't even try to spell that name right! I don't have a Cyrillic keyboard) and (some) Prokofiev (e.g. Alexandr Nyefski) but I don't control the stereo...
So I'm passingly familiar with Rammstein... it goes through the walls on occasions.
ChaosEmpire:
also remember that rammstein has done the entry song for a very popular movie
Sportfreund:
what was it? xXx ? thats the only movie i actually know that rammstein made a song for it. ( and its the only song i quite like written by rammstein..)
Shinlos:
Yeah i think it is meant, the song is "Feuer Frei".
