Does Sor skills affect on Act3 Mercenary?

Anyone know some staffs such as war staff with 3 cold skills add affects on the Act3 mercenary or not? also some other passive skills such as cold master?

+Sorcskills or +Sorctree don't affect the skills of an act3 merc.
+all Skills and passive skills like firemastery (unique "gabriels judgement") or coldmastery (unique "splinterfreeze") work on him. Furthermore items with +%eledamage (set "corruption coils" or rainbow facetts) and -%elementery resistance work too.

Also, +all fire skills (not sorc specific) works for the fire merc.

items with skills like fire mastery work only, if the skill is not class specific on the item.
