Problem of start

Prompt please why Diablo, with replacement of yours DLL, without a sound card it is not started, and 1.10 superb goes?

Can you tell us a little bit more what have you done and what problem do you have? Comes a Errormessage?

You need a original 1.10 LoD installation, any change from the original files loaders etc. will disable the function of the mod.

A replacement of dlls won´t work - you have to install and activate the mod.

At license full Diablo II + LoD 1.09 + a patch 1.10 (official). At 1.10 I normally come into game, even on your server, and at activation CE game is not started at all and even mistakes does not give out. The patch 7.55 + 7.60d has been put. The unique assumption, that it because of a sound which in general on my computer is not present (since the server).

and there is a probglem with sound too, if u have no soundcard u cant switch the acts in sp but it starts

did you already tried to start diablo in window mode?
also i remeber a switch to disable sound for d2

-w is window mode
-ns or -s dont know exactly is no sound mode

attach this to your shortcut which should similiar like this:

"d:\games\diablo ii\diablo ii.exe" -w -ns

All has earned houses normally. A problem similar not because of a sound card. Similar because of two network cards established on my computer and your changes DLL. Therefore a question, whether it is possible to include somehow Debug for preservation in a broad gully of all start of game?

if you use any kind of loader, hack and so on, you wont be able to start

Yes not a sound it. I have inserted a sound card. Too most. At home the same computer, only instead of two network cards costs one, and here two are thrust.

If I understand you correctly, I have a similar condition: start D2 LOD 1.10 goes fine, but start D2 LOD 1.10 CE hangs before screen goes black.  Not every time, but 3 out of 4 attempts.  Computer hangs hard, and Ctrl+Alt+Del is required to reboot computer in order to do anything!

Solution is a work-around (limp like broken leg, but get there): Disable mod, Start D2LOD, Exit at first screen, Enable mod, Start D2LOD 1.10-CE. Works fine every time.  Why? Unknown. Does it work? Yes, so I am happy.

(note: After doing this once after machine boot, I can exit and re-start D2LOD-CE without disable/start/exit/enable/start sequence... Why? Unknown.)
