Problem of start

Yes not a sound it. I have inserted a sound card. Too most. At home the same computer, only instead of two network cards costs one, and here two are thrust.

If I understand you correctly, I have a similar condition: start D2 LOD 1.10 goes fine, but start D2 LOD 1.10 CE hangs before screen goes black.  Not every time, but 3 out of 4 attempts.  Computer hangs hard, and Ctrl+Alt+Del is required to reboot computer in order to do anything!

Solution is a work-around (limp like broken leg, but get there): Disable mod, Start D2LOD, Exit at first screen, Enable mod, Start D2LOD 1.10-CE. Works fine every time.  Why? Unknown. Does it work? Yes, so I am happy.

(note: After doing this once after machine boot, I can exit and re-start D2LOD-CE without disable/start/exit/enable/start sequence... Why? Unknown.)
