Distribution of CE MOD?

Ok this may sound wierd:

A friend of mine saw me playing CE MOD and saw the backpack size, stash and also the new duriel area through tal rasha's tomb. Wants to play CE MOD, but has a dialup connection and asked me for the setup.exe! i would need to give him 755.exe and the updates after that.

Can i give it to him or is there a policy to download from here only? Some freeware have such policies so i thought i would get clearance prior to doing anything.

there's no problem with giving the files to anybody else :)

there is a problem, if it will be distributed on cd like in a magazine or some collection cds, internet and so on
but not to give it to your friend cause of download issues

Thank you i have give him the files. And yes i can understand why mass distribution is bad. Thanks though, he is very happy now [my friend] LOL he got his  behind handed to him by the two champon quillboars he met in the blood moor, as soon as he left the rogue camp.

So Trehan, I suspect by now your friend is on his way to total CE addiction :). I can still remember my first game play on this Mod. I played for hours, and it only felt like minuetes! Yoou done your friend a real favor. New players are needed and always welcome!

:D well i was sick of him telling me how he totally owns baal in hell. so i sort of let him see what CE MOD looks like and told him that each levelup u get 8 of these and 2 of those. Without telling him about players/13.

But you are right, he loves the mod. By the way, is there any figures available on how many people play CE MOD? Maybe number of downloads for 755.exe?

more then 25000 downloads of 7.55 only from this side...
there are other places too, like planetdiablo, indiablo i assume some fan pages and so on
