shared internet connection

since the modders seem to have gd computer knowlegde   i was wondering if it is possible to get to 2 pcs to share one internet connection  because me my dad and sister argue who gets to use the onyl computer with internet on  it (only one that has the cable going to for internet acces other doesnt)    its so me and my dad can both play diablo 2  at same  time i got  m8 who gave me cd keys he dont play anymore so it would allow another full instuallation on the 2nd pc  hope this makes sense and can be done thanks in advance

if you have two pcs and one i-net connection you can use the ics, internet connection sharing, which is build in windows. but this requires that the pc which is connected directly to the internet to be switch on so the other can access through it. so, the best way would be if you get a router to do this. there are various companys sell those, e.g. d-link or ecs.

yes they both can access the internet and play online ce on ccc

it not the same as if you own 2 conenctions, but for playing d2 it will be fine

use the ICS from windows, or buy a cheap inet router, or if their is an old pc in the corner...use it as router..2 networkadapters, and something like Fli4L or ipcop.org
