Waypoint problem in 7.60c
« on: August 10, 2005, 01:01:38 am »
So with the removal of stony field WP, if you try and go there before you download the new version, you get disconnected.

After patching to 7.60c, the stony field WP is replaced with Cold Plains.  I clicked on CP WP and got disconnected also (b/c i hadnt activated the cold plains WP)

And then I got a 30 min ban!  Not my fault!!

the 760c changes the field of stones wp into cold plains

if you use an older one, it will  crash

i tested it with my char without any issues

but they all have had the wp
if all crashes happen to people not having the wp..i will do a new test..but from file side it must be ok

The only problem will occur when you have a character that had the stony field WP but did NOT have cold plains, itll crash your game!~

Last I saw the "7.0c" notice, it talked about whirlwind attack bugs being fixed.  So i haven't downloaded the patch because I *never* whirlwind (not connected to the fact that I get vertigo when dizzy).

Now that it is known that the patch addresses more serious issues (crashing a game trumps a defective skill for seriousness) I'll grab the patch.
