@chaos (re back-ends in the US: (we've elected a few back-ends to high offices...)): Invent a new monster type... only drops oils (because they're living grease) and money. Has no physical attack but sometimes causes reflected damage whether melee or ranged.  Casts magical attack like Lava Maw, but effect is to Knockback and Slow player down (like Cleglaw's gloves) as well as drains money.  Uses war-cries.

Name of Monster type: Lawyer.

Like Fallen, Lawyers are revived by their Shaman, the Judge.

Any time a Judge is killed, a near-by Lawyer becomes Judge.

Judges attack with (un)blessed hammer.

You can never hork a soul from these monsters because they don't have one.

@bdpf: 1.11 LOD items don't drop in CE, 1.11 RuneWords aren't active in CE, and synergies are from CE, not LOD.  The other answers are correct & complete.

Don't kill them, give them a soul, but make them pay for it, triple...;)
Or send them to court with out thier cloths, till they get a soul..
Legal thiefs & their consorts, should only be pettied after they get reborn with a soul.

Da you must gather that I think some pople are subhuman,, na they just dont have a soul
like normal poeple.

Would make nice monsters to wack though
