Auras of A2 mercs in different difficulties

I was reading a short blurb on the differences in auras of A2 mercs throughout the different difficulties, but could not comprehend what I was reading.

What exact auras do combat/defense/offence mercs get in the different difficulties?

Can they get more than one?

no they keep the one aura they have when you hire them

which different auras there are you can read when you hire them...
